1. Buying a property in Turkey on behalf of a Natural Person.

According to the Turkish Republic low’s the documents which have been presented to the Land Registry Office must puss several State controls.

One of the most important control will be made by the Ministry of Defense. The result of this control will be a document which will indicate whether your property is in a strategic military zone or not. This control may last form several weeks to several months.

But, starting from 8 October 2013 according to the entered into force law if in the building where you are buying the property the sale for the foreigner has already been done in other worlds if this building has already been checked by the Ministry of Defense you will not have to wait and will be able to transfer the Title Deeds immediately.

After all document and applications will be checked the message showing the amount of tax and other fees to be paid will be sent to your mobile. As soon as fees and relevant taxes have been paid at the named in the message time you have to go to the Land Registry office and sing the Title Deed handover documents with the property owner.

Mentioned Title Deed fees you can pay at the any of the following banks Halkbank, Vakıfbank and Ziraat bank. Having the banks document showing the title deeds fees payment you have to go to the Land Registry office again. This time you and the property owner will sign the Title Deed handover on behalf of your name. At this stage all taxes on the purchase of real estate and other fees must be paid.
