Digitalization in the real estate market continues to accelerate. Thanks to a system developed by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the application for preparing lease agreements through e-Government is now available to real estate agents. This innovation simplifies many processes in the market while also increasing security.
How Does the System Work?
The e-Government Lease Agreement service, which was previously only available to property owners, can now also be used by real estate consultants. Property owners can grant digital authorization to real estate agents through the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre system. The authorized real estate agent can then prepare the lease agreement digitally and send it to the tenant.
The agreement is approved by both the property owner and the tenant through e-Government. After approval, an official document with QR code and time stamp is generated. This document can be verified and downloaded.
What Are the Advantages of This System?
- Time Savings: There is no longer any need to deal with notary appointments or physical signatures. All transactions can be completed online in a matter of minutes.
- Security: Coded, stamped documents prevent false contracts. Transparency: Both the property owner and the tenant, as well as the real estate agent, can track the entire process transparently.
- Transparency: Both the property owner, tenant, and real estate consultant can track the entire process transparently.
- Official Status: Transactions conducted by real estate agents are now officially recorded in the system, enhancing the profession’s credibility.
- Environmentally Friendly: Paper consumption is reduced, protecting the environment.
