The Ministry of Trade has changed the regulations on real estate trading to prevent excessive increases in housing prices and make the market fairer.<\/p>\n
According to a statement from the Ministry, housing and land listings on websites are being closely monitored. If excessive price increases that do not align with economic realities and lack a valid justification are detected in listings, penalties will be imposed on those who post the listings and the real estate agents facilitating them.<\/p>\n
The new regulation came into effect as of May 30, 2025. Now, not only real estate offices but also property owners may face administrative penalties if they raise prices without a valid reason when posting advertisements.<\/p>\n
With this step, the aim is to prevent artificial price increases and opportunism in the real estate market.
