Belek town is situated about 30 minutes drive from Antalya Airport, approximately 10 minutes drive from Serik, the commercial and administrative centre for the area, and also ten minutes drive from Kadriye, another small town.
The town is perfectly located for easy access for other sites in the area such as Side,Perge,Aspendos,Antalya itself, and is only 1 hour drive from Alanya.
Everything is within easy reach without you being stuck in a noisy city or resort; the beaches,the historic sites,the bars and restaurants, the golf courses, the shops.

As a tourist centre the town provides good transport links to most places you would probably wish to visit.The infrastructure is improving constantly,pushed along by important events like the G20 meeting held in November 2015 and the EXPO 2016 project amongst others.
Travel to Turkey’s balmy Mediterranean coast and you’ll find the world-class coastal golf resort of Belek. Growing as a tourist hub over the last 15 years, it’s become a haven for golfers and the number that now visit here closely rivals Portugal’s Algarve. Belek may be known for its long, sweeping beachfront, luxury hotels and championship golf courses, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t grab your wallet and hit the shops here too. Lively street markets
Many of the four and five-star hotels in Belek have their own private beach, but don’t be tempted to stay in your seaside accommodation all holiday as there’s plenty for you to enjoy once you’ve played 18 holes and soaked up the sun. Belek is a great place to shop and you’ll find a range of souvenir shops and markets where you can buy lots of goodies to carry back home.
Take a trip into Belek’s centre for shops that sell souvenirs, as well as leather bags, purses and jewellery. Visit the lively Belek street market for gift shopping and a chance to taste some traditional food. The market’s held every week on a Saturday and you can haggle to your hearts content. Pick up some delicious Turkish Delight, baklava, and jars of honey and nuts while you’re here.
Spices and hand-painted dishes
Only around two to three miles west along the coastal road, the small town of Kadriye is also close by. Slightly smaller and quieter than Belek, wander around Kadriye’s palm tree-lined streets for shops that sell clothes and accessories. If you’re here on a Tuesday, it’s worth visiting the renowned Kadriye market. Packed with colourful stalls brimming with souvenirs and national food, this beautiful market is an ideal way to explore the local culture. Spices, hand-painted dishes, bright pashminas and jewellery made from precious stones await.
A less crowded alternative to the busy local markets, most of the large Belek hotels will have shops where you can pick up some last-minute souvenirs. But expect to pay higher prices than the markets and local shops.
If you and the family still need some retail therapy, then take a bus to Antalya’s upmarket Terra City. At this busy shopping mall, you can enjoy the large food court and explore all the high-end, international brand shops on offer, as well as leading Turkish designer brands.

Once you tear yourself away from the lively street markets, you’ll find plenty of ways to fill your time in Belek. Stroll around the ruins of the Roman town of Perge, or step back in time at the well-preserved ancient amphitheatre at Aspendos. Enjoy jeep safaris into the mountains, scuba diving and water sports like sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing. Take a day trip to the breathtaking Koprulu National Park or Koprulu Canyon, where you can hike and ride horses along mountain trails.
